About Don Houle

I have 25 years’ experience in the IT industry, 21 of those years as a Test Manager, Test Coordinator or a Team Leader with experience in Government (Alberta Community and Social Services, Alberta Children Services and Alberta Energy), Telecommunications (Bell West) and Banking (ATB Financial) industries. Responsibilities include managing multiple teams at the same time, managing full time and part time resources, developing, optimizing and managing test schedules using Microsoft Project. Responsibilities also include developing and implementing detailed test strategies for both Manual and Automated Testing using Agile and Waterfall approaches, providing weekly status reports, attending project management meetings and managing defects. As well as System and User Acceptance Test support and execution. I am also an excellent communicator, with strong people skills, and have many years of problem solving experience.
