About Don Lopezi
I have been with FINRA since 1992. I started as an examiner in the Denver office and moved to Exam Manager before re-locating for DC headquarters in 2003. In headquarters I was an Associate Director and eventually a VP of our Exam Program Group, which was the department responsible for design of the processes, policies and technologies relevant to our examination program. In 2011 I re-located to San Francisco to become District Director of that office before becoming promoted to SVP West Region Director in 2013. In 2020, I transitioned into a role related to leading key strategic initiatives for department and then moved to a role leading our Strategy, Strategic Execution and Program Risk teams. I am currently leading a large corporate initiative.
