I've worked 16 years in sales/sales management in Illinois for NFIB. My earlier career background is public education. Now I get to work with outside sales reps defending small business and Free Enterprise while helping them build a great career with a great income. The objective of the Membership Sales Rep position is to grow the membership base & revenue in a designated work area by recruiting business owners into an annual membership. It is a hunter/closer sales position. Since 1943, NFIB Sales Representatives have educated small business owners through in-person cold calling (no appointment setting) & using a success-proven sales presentation provided by NFIB. It is a FULL-TIME outside sales position (100% field work). It is a high-volume/high-activity position, driving the membership daily. It is not relationship-oriented. It is a one-call close with no maintenance after the sale. Our presentation is brief & to the point, only a few minutes long. Most importantly, it's effective. It works. We offer: 3 weeks training pay ($800/week or Commissions whichever is greater) Straight Commission (starting week 4) with uncapped earnings potential Monthly and quarterly bonus plans Average first year income $60-80k.
