About Don Meade

I have been in private practice since 1982, dedicated to representing employees from many different jobs, professions and careers, whether factory workers, nurses, teachers, human resource reps, doctors, lawyers, EMS workers, police officers or managers. I also represent individuals who have been injured in cases of workers compensation, auto accidents and other types of accidental injury. I make a personal committment to those I represent and perform virtually all the work myself. I do not have a volume practice, but instead concentrate on a caseload that is at any time a mix of union work, litigation, and administrative agency practice across a wide spectrum of issues. I take a problem solving approach to all my cases, utilizing litigation only when necessary. I have experience as a mediator and a hearing officer ( 5 years for the Kentucky Personnel Board). Specialties: My practice concentrates in representation of employees through litigation and other efforts in civil rights, wrongful discharge, quit tam, merit board hearings, university faculty grievances,workers compensation, auto accident, personal injury cases. Our representation of the 5700 member teachers union (JCTA) allows us to work on behalf of teachers in many forums.
