About Don Montgomery

I was 16 and serving in one of my first jobs when I realized that my passion for caring for the customer always led to greater success for everyone involved. This passion, merged with over 25 years of experience in sales, team and business leadership, and eventually coupled with that fearless entrepreneurial spirit, is what led to the birth of True North Mergers & Acquisitions (TN) in 2015. Now at True North, I get to help owners during the most important single business transaction of their lives. I spend my time educating, preparing and protecting clients throughout the entire process of exiting from their small to midsized businesses, while securing maximum value for them in the process. At TNMA we do this by- Identifying what our client’s business is truly worth - Finding the best buyers to maximize value for our client - Helping our clients navigate and negotiate critical transactions - And finally guiding them to close their deals efficiently and at the highest possible price and terms Bringing passion and creativity, I listen to each client’s goals with respect to their business, then work tenaciously to help achieve these goals. At the end of the day what matters to me is people, and I get no greater satisfaction than impacting their lives for the better. I am always excited to connect with someone over coffee for a real conversation - listening and learning about them and their business and figuring out where I can perhaps bring value at a critical time.
