About Don Overmyer

This design practice covers extensive publication and print design, graphic identity programs, standards and specifications documentation, environmental graphics, signage and wayfinding. As a graphic designer working in the context of architecture, urban design and planning, my focus over the last several years has been on community- related design needs. This experience has led to the pursuit of applying design methodologies to the larger issues facing communities as they work toward economic viability – helping clients recognize opportunities in this unique economic environment, and the potential held in realizing, facilitating, and aligning emerging technologies with existing resources and infrastructures. Specialties: As a senior level designer with experience in private, public and academic sectors, I have specific skills in problem assessment, research, concept and design development, team building, art direction and design management.
