I have performed maintenance on military aircraft since 2008, operating out of 15+ countries and cultures across 4 continents. I have strong leadership and program management skills and experience. I am looking to transition into the private sector in a management role with a path into the business side of the aviation/defense sector. I designed and managed a new workflow process for a timely inspection of a heavy military aircraft. The new process reduced the total time of inspection and fix phases in half. This has decreased our aircraft’s not-mission-capable time from 2 weeks to 4 days. This new inspection workflow required the buy-in of 9 specialist shops, multiple engine runs, 3 towing operations, and a final quality assurance inspection. It is now the new standard for the completion of these inspections and I am frequently consulted by other aircraft maintenance managers as they adjust the process to new variables.
