About Don Rose

I am a passionate and committed leader with extensive experience in non-profit management, Public Relations, education, and public speaking. I hold a Master of Arts in English Literature from the University of Waterloo and a certification from the Ontario College of Teachers with professional training in the Master of Science in Education program at Canisius College. As the Chief Administrator of Great Lakes Christian High School and Preschool and former President of Great Lakes Bible College, I oversee the operations of these nonprofit institutions that provide quality academics in a Christian environment. I share the vision and mission of the organizations, and I strive to create a positive and inclusive culture that fosters learning, growth, and faith among students, staff, and parents. Personal passions are travel, hiking, theatre, and writing for a variety of purposes. I have extensive global travel and travel planning experience for student recruiting, PR, fundraising, personal goals, and group excursions and missions. Both of my degrees in English included multiple classes in Dramatic Arts, I am a qualified secondary school teacher in intermediate and senior English and senior Dramatic Arts, and I directed seventeen high school plays and several dramatic presentations for churches and summer camps.
