About Don Scott Marable

A native Texan, I grew up in the Bryan/College Station area. I graduated from Texas A&M in 1982 with a bachelor’s degree in construction science. Since joining Edward Jones, I have earned the AAMS™ and CFP® professional designations through the College of Financial Planning. My wife and best friend, Loretta, and I live in Fort Worth with our two sons, Britton and Travis. We have a core belief that for the privilege of being put on this earth, we have an obligation to leave our camp site better than we found it. As such, I currently serve on multiple local boards including the Fort Worth Ronald McDonald House, the Fort Worth Stock Show Syndicate, A Wish With Wings, Downtown Fort Worth Inc. and the Greatest Gift Catalog Ever. Loretta currently serves as a CASA advocate and supports FFA and 4H kids through Ladies on the Lamb. As a family, we also proudly support the nationwide Edward Jones initiative to find a cure to Alzheimer’s through our firm's “Walk to End Alzheimer’s” program. Since 2004, I have focused on helping individuals, families and business owners develop and implement strategies specifically tailored to accomplish the goals that are most important to them. Our team works closely with you and your other trusted professionals to address all of your financial and non-financial needs such as insurance protection strategies, personal and business retirement planning, wealth transfer, college education funding and more. My branch office administrators are Chelsea Godwin and Lauren Lindsey. As a general partner at Edward Jones, I also oversee 68 other Edward Jones branches in North Texas and Southern Oklahoma as a regional leader.
