About Don Sheehan

With more than 25 years experience in the labor movement, I have painstakingly developed the skills set to lead members and activists. I have extensive experience lobbying for the support of union legislative objectives and priorities in both the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and Washington DC. Additionally, since 2003, I have been the co-creator, writer, producer & host of 30 minute monthly cable access program entitled "Labor Talk". The program addresses issues affecting working people/families in the local, national and world commiunities. Labor Talk had been cable cast in 60 Massachusetts cities and towns as well as the world wide web. Via "Labor Talk" we have assisted many working folks and labor unions in getting their message out to the public. During that same time frame (10 yrs more or less) I managed the "rock" band Tomorrows Remedy. Ultimately landing them on the Warped Tour in Northampton, Ma. If you know the music industry at all, this was no small feat given that the band was unsigned at that time. Perserverence, marketing and communication won the day. I strongly desire a challenge and I am ready for a change in career. I have a proven track record of building relationships with a variety of labor, political and business leaders.
