About Don van Gorp

I’m a teamplayer working in an international, multicultural environment, and being respected/appreciated by all my colleagues, customers and suppliers. Currently working fully remote on software integrations. Making sure that the operating system for global logistics - as we like to call it - is ready to interact with 3rd party Port operating systems across the world. Besides designing those interfaces, the team I belong to maintains connections towards almost all Carriers so that our customers can easily book and manage the transport of their goods. We support our customers in sending Booking Requests, Shipping Instructions and Vermas messages to all of those carriers and we make sure the operating system remains Geo-compliant with all local regulations. Besides the day to day business, we work on new intuitive solutions to improve logistic processes for our customers all over the world. Due to pretty decent analytical skills, I am doing a lot of root cause analysis as well so that customer issues can be handled promptly and correct. My technical background makes it easy to understand, implement and use more complex architectures into our software integration projects.
