About Don Walker

Don Walker has spent 15 years working in the mental health field. His experience includes working in non-profit and church counseling centers, mental health clinics, and psychiatric hospitals. He earned two master’s degrees in Marriage and Family Counseling and Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2005. Prior to attending Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, he worked in Organizational Development and Training with Toshiba. His experience in organizational development helps him understand the systems involved in dysfunctional behavior and relationships. His training background enhances his ability to help clients develop new coping skills. Don’s experience includes premarital and marriage counseling, divorce recovery, sexual addictions, anger management, anxiety, depression, bi-polar, stress management, grief, and relationship issues. Don has worked with individuals, couples, families, and groups. He is certified using the Prepare/Enrich materials and Taylor/Johnson assessments in premarital and marital counseling.
