About Don Wilson

I am an Enrolled Agent currently working for a tax company preparing federal and state taxes in the airline industry working with Pilots and Flight Attendants across the United States. I am in my fifth year. Before this I worked part-time during the tax season for Liberty Tax Service for 2 seasons from 2015-2016 and H&R Block during the early for 4 seasons. In addition to working part-time in the tax industry I worked 29 years 11 months in the food service industry from 1987 through 2016 where I worked my way from Manager Trainee to Food Service Director to Instructor of Restaurant Operations the last 10 years of this time. I always thought that when I retired from the food service industry tax preparation and teaching others about how they can maximize their tax return would be what I want to do as a second career. Well I semi-retired from the food service industry in December, 2016 and started working full time on my passion of helping others maximize and understand their tax return. I have a Post-Master Certification in College Teaching from Capella University, a Master in Education in Post Secondary and Adult Education from Capella University along with a Bachelor of Science from Ball State University in General Business Administration. My ideal position would be in the tax industry working with clients on their tax returns while developing training programs to help those clients teach their employees or customers how to maximize their federal and state returns.
