Multiple years experience using Problem Solving Tools to correct potential issues and current issues at consumer, automotive manufacturer (Ford, Chrysler & GM), internal and outside suppliers, manufacturing and design levels. Tools include Six Sigma processes, 8D/7 Step, Fishbone Diagrams, Kepner Tregoe Problem Solving and PowerPoint Presentation Summaries to management and customers. • Responsible for Sycamore, IL plant preparation for successful outside (3rd party) audit of Johnson Controls Business Operating System, Chrysler Requirements and TS-16949. I led preparation using a Level 1 Internal Audit, followed by a Level 2 Audit performed by a sister JCI plant. Prepared and collected evidence to demonstrate compliance and / or close audit issues. • Utilized existing Livelink database to create a single location where all multiple user controlled blank documents in the JCI Sycamore plant are stored and accessible to all, in a logical path with index, in preparation for audits and ongoing use thereafter. Prior to that documents were stored in shared drives with little control. • Created 10 Layered Process Audits at JCI Sycamore. These audits identified correct processes required to deliver safe and quality product at all important steps of the build process. Every salaried staff member is required to conduct at least one LPA audit at an assigned location per month. • Extensive successful experience working in unionized workplaces in the management team.
