About Don Wren

I started banking in 1998 with Wells Fargo Bank in Tucson, AZ and quickly moved up the ladder to become a Branch Manager of two branches in Bellevue, WA. During the years of 1998 to 2001, I won numerous awards as top sales person for the SW Region and when I moved to Bellevue, WA, was again top in sales for the state of WA. In 2001, I became a Commercial Loan Officer and after a couple of years, I realized I found my career. I moved back to Arizona via 1st Bank Yuma in 2004. In 2006, I went full circle and moved back to Tucson via Southern Arizona Community Bank (now Bank of Tucson). I am now working for Vantage West Credit Union as a Business Relationship Manger Within the last six years, I have financed over $60 million in new loans and have successfully brought over numerous new business relationship to VWCU. I see tremendous opportunity with the VWCU family and look forward to continuing my career with the organization. I specialize in all aspects of commercial lending. I have initiated and developed the SBA program for 1st Bank Yuma. After moving to SACB, I became SBA Community Banker of the Year for the Business Development Financial Corporation for the years of 2007 & 2009. I enjoy utilizing the SBA programs when necessary and understand the products thoroughly. I also enjoy C&I, Business Lines of Credit, and Commercial Real Estate loans for both Investor and Owner Occupied properties.
