Technology Professional with experience in development, operational support and Program Management. PMP certified. Experience in multiple industries; Retail banking, transportation, health care and retail. Program Manager for an Enterprise Database team that supports, Oracle, MongoDB and Microsoft SQL Server. I also support other infrastructure projects outside of this group such as implementing an Asset Management System and upgrades to our Data Center. For the last 4 years, I have focused on improvements to our processes to reduce Incidents and Service Tickets by adding Self-Service features and automation. I have helped 2 teams move from reactive to proactive support. Before Nordstrom, I was IT Manager of New Technology at a small third party provider for health care systems. Zenith-American administers health insurance and pensions for smaller organizations. The new technology in this case was web sites. I oversaw a major growth in providing web portals for the smaller companies we worked with. There were a few custom web sites but we also provided a multi-user portal site as part of our service. These were not content only sites, but interactive and provided eligibility, claims services, etc. Prior to Zenith-American, my previous technology employer was Airborne Express. Airborne Express was a great company to work for. They were cost conscious and it was usually a challenge to provide a solution without a big supply of capital. We had to be careful how we spent money and we had to justify every penny we spent! At Airborne, I was the Project Manager in charge of a large project to archive digital air waybills and provide a system to insure we were being paid for every shipment we delivered.
