About Dona Basak

I am a Master's student at Tampere University specializing in Wireless Communication and RF Systems, set to complete my degree in June 2025. My research interests lie in multifunctional radio, joint communication and sensing, massive MIMO, IoT and the application of machine learning in 6G near-field communication.I am also working as a Research Assistant on a project related to Fundamental Limits and Performance Trade-offs in Integrated Sensing and Communications (ISAC) and Multifunctional Radios. My Master's thesis focuses on multifunctional radio using massive MIMO and radiative near field communication for 6G IoT applications, and I aim to deepen my knowledge and research skills by pursuing a PhD in this field. Additionally, I have published conference papers on Analog CMOS Integrated Circuits, showcasing my enthusiasm for research in this domain as well. Beyond research, I have teaching experience, which has helped me strengthen my core understanding of my field and develop my ability to communicate complex concepts effectively. My technical expertise include tools for data analysis, simulation, and circuit design such as MATLAB, Python, LTspice and Cadence Virtuoso. With a background that includes a Bachelor’s and two Master’s degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering, my expertise spans research in 5G, 6G, multifunctional radio, massive MIMO and analog integrated circuits for ADC. I am highly motivated to contribute to cutting-edge research and would love to connect to discuss opportunities in 6G-based multifunctional radio, machine learning for communication and sensing, and related fields
