About Donal Glavin

As a QA for Hardware/IT Support at Beanfield Metroconnect, I have over nine years of experience in various technical support roles across different IT domains and industries. I have a B.Sc. degree in Software Development, and I apply my programming skills and knowledge to enhance and streamline IT processes and systems. My role involves diagnosing and resolving all internal IT issues, questions, and inquiries by phone, email, and/or in-person across Ontario and Quebec. I also track, record, and respond to requests for IT technical support, and create templates and technical documentation for standard operating procedures and support. Additionally, I suggest improvements for current internal IT processes, procedures, and systems, and document them for management review and approval. I use my skills in technical support, pages, and computer hardware to ensure that all internal software and hardware requirements are met, and that the IT infrastructure is functioning optimally and securely. I enjoy working with the New Hire Ambassador and HR teams during the onboarding of new employees, and providing them with the necessary IT equipment and setup. I am motivated by the company's mission to offer innovative, reliable, and customer-centric solutions, and I value the collaborative and diverse culture of the organization. I take pride in being a proactive, resourceful, and adaptable IT specialist, who can deliver quality IT solutions and services to customers and internal stakeholders.
