About Donald Baucom

I work as a full service broker with Aimee Anderson & Associates. I am a licensed North Carolina real estate broker and deal in residential real estate transactions. I represent buyers and sellers alike by listening to their needs and developing a plan to meet those needs. My goal is to provide the best quality of service that ensures my clients home ownership needs are met. In today's world, people need someone that they can trust. Here is a little about my background: I began my public service in 1977 as a volunteer fire fighter at Hemby Bridge Volunteer Fire Department and later became a full-time fire fighter and EMT at Monroe, NC Fire Department in 1979. In 1981, I began my law enforcement career with the Union County (NC) Sheriff's Office and remained there until 1989. While there, I advanced my training to hold an Advance Law Enforcement Certification and obtained a BS degree from Wingate University. I began my Federal law enforcement career in 1989 and served as a Criminal Investigator, Explosives Specialist, Firearms Instructor and other duties until my retirement from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives on December 31, 2011. I have taught in numerous states including AL, GA, MD, NC, SC, VA and WI. I have also provided training in Bangkok, Thailand; Botswanna, Africa; Budapest, Hungary; and Pristina, Kosovo. I am a contract instructor with the Department of Justice, Bureau of ATF, where I teach at the National Center for Explosives Training and Research. After my retirement from full-time service, I became a realtor in 2014. I achieved the designation of At Home With Diversity and Certified International Property Specialist.
