About Donald Charboneau

Over the past 24 years, I have developed a broad technical background, with experience in software development, project management, business analysis and data management. On the business and policy front, I have extensive experience in financial analysis, enterprise risk management, strategic planning, as well as strategic policy development, focusing on identifying future trends in technology and their impact on government policy and planning. My diverse experience profile has helped me develop effective engagement tactics, strong interpersonal skills and strategic vision which I have leveraged in the launch and the continued evolution of the Benefits Management Program at Shared Services Canada (SSC) and most recently with the Benefits Realization Program at Nav Canada. I am the first graduate of the CIPS certified Architect Professional Certification Program which launched in 2018 to support Government of Canada (GC) employees looking to begin or grow their career in IT enterprise architecture. I am convinced that this program represents incredible value to both the Government of Canada and its participants. As such, I volunteer my time as a coach to support participants in their journey through the program.
