About Donald Frank

As Chief Operating Officer of Vantage Systems, I am responsible for strategic planning, business development, and overall business oversight. My career accomplishments include a nearly 30-year successful track record of exceeding bookings and revenue objectives for numerous firms, winning strategic contract awards, and leading scientific and technical projects and programs. I am skilled in capturing new business, managing complex scientific, engineering, and information technology service efforts, and managing teams. Prior to joining Vantage Systems, I served as Vice President to Sierra Lobo, SGT, and Science and Technology Corporation, where I supported and led efforts in business development, strategic capture, and contract management. As a degreed Meteorologist, I started his career supporting the NASA Johnson Space Center’s Earth Observations Laboratory and Space Flight Meteorology Group, the NOAA National Center for Environmental Prediction’s Aviation Weather Center, and the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center’s Global Modeling and Data Assimilation Office and have a personal passion for weather forecasting and Earth observations. Specialties: Capture Management, business development management, engineering, satellite meteorology, oceanography, scientific programming, systems engineering, systems administration, and scientific data analysis.
