My work ethic was ingrained from a young age as my father was self-employed and I was homeschooled. My father owned rental properties throughout the state of Florida. I cannot remember a time when I was not working and, at 16, with driving privileges, I was responsible for taking care of all our managed swimming pools as well as small maintenance. I shadowed our contract employees, picking up HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, tile, and flooring skills. This experience made me realize that physical labor, though admirable was not the direction I wanted to pursue. I participated in athletics throughout high school and College, which honed my discipline. After several short job stints post college, I landed a job with a smart circle company in Dallas. My primary task was to generate leads. I quickly was promoted to a position of leadership, with responsibility for building and training a team. Within a short period of time I had fifteen people working under me, five of which went on to build their own group. Four months later I was tasked with opening the Denver Market. I then decided to go out on my own, forming Greyrock Inc, a lead generation company that was based in Denver. My three person company grew to become #1 lead generator for Home Depot. Having gained quite a bit of experience running my own small enterprise I made the decision to sell it and broaden my horizon by working with a large company. I was hired by Tesla. I have had great success with Tesla however their recent financial problems resulted in their focusing almost entirely on web sales and the altering my compensation package. Thus, I am seeking a new position. My goal is to pursue a position where I can continue to learn new skills and improve my leadership qualities, always contributing in a positive way. My mindset is to assume I am not just another employee, rather I am working for myself and focusing on maximizing the value of the company.
