Background

About Donald Shoemaker

I am a dedicated and reliable professional with a diverse background in electrical work, trade skills, customer service, and leadership. With hands-on experience troubleshooting electrical systems, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety protocols, I bring a strong foundation in technical expertise and precision. I am passionate about delivering high-quality work in all environments and take pride in my ability to work independently while ensuring accuracy and safety. In addition to my technical skills, I have extensive experience in customer service, where I developed strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities. These skills have allowed me to build rapport with clients and provide exceptional service, even in challenging situations. I am confident that my attention to detail and customer-focused approach will serve me well in any role. Outside of my professional experience, I served as President of Mountain Lake Fire Company from 2019-2023, gaining valuable administrative experience. During my time with the company, I organized the annual golf outing fundraiser, raising over for the department. Although I am no longer an active member, I remain deeply committed to community service and leadership, and am actively involved in Liquid Church and its community outreach events. When I’m not working, I enjoy a round of golf, a Tabak Especial cigar, and spending quality time with family and friends. I love exploring new downtowns, learning about the Law of Attraction, and playing the piano. If you can’t find me, check the nearest beach – I’m likely there! Fun fact: I was selected out of people to pitch my invention idea backstage to Robert Herjavec on ABC’s “Shark Tank.” Currently, I am focused on pursuing opportunities in the utilities sector, where I can apply my diverse skill set, passion for customer service, and commitment to safety. I am excited to contribute to a company that values sustainability, community, and innovation.
