I started at DHL Express working as a Customer Service Advisor for 2 years. This position helped me to gain experience in the logistics industry and in the express courier service. I was later promoted to Senior Customer Service Advisor, which gave me opportunity to gain further knowledge in a front-line position having direct communication with customers and managing a team. Two years later, in 2017, I was confirmed as a Credit Controller within the Finance department where I worked for 7 months. This position exposed me to a different sectors within the organisation, and handling financial accounts helped me acquire also good experience in this field. In April 2018, I have been affirmed a Telesales Executive position. Whereby I handled business customers' accounts on a daily basis, making sure to see to their needs, and that they are satisfied with the service being offered. I also targeted new potential customers in search of an efficient courier service. I have obtained an overall experience within DHL Malta and am very well versed with all services being offered. In 2019 I felt I needed a change in my career and to focus on something new and different. I have joined Trust Payments (Malta) Limited as a Junior Compliance Officer. To date I have gained vast experience working within the Financial Sector as a Compliance Officer. In the past 3 years I managed to gain good knowledge related to Money Laundering and Funding of Terrorism which helped me step up in my career. I am currently a Compliance Team leader, leading a team of Compliance Officers, ensuring smooth running of our merchants’ portfolio by maintaining efficient ongoing monitoring and keeping records updated and in line with AML regulations. Customer Service and Management skills are two important key factors that help me deliver excellent team leading skills and good communication with my team members and other members of the same organization. I am also involved in projects whereby I provide my views and feedback on how we can improve work flows and communication within the organization.
