Background
About Dongjoo Lee
I am a Data Scientist with a Bioinformatics background, bridging multi-omics data analysis (spatial/single-cell transcriptomics, proteomics, epigenomics) and machine learning-driven data solutions.Through research at Seoul National University Hospital and startup experience, I have conducted end-to-end analyses—from preprocessing, QC, statistical modeling, and interpretation to clinical decision support—resulting in co-authored publications with clinicians. As a Data Scientist, I design robust, reproducible pipelines using Snakemake, Airflow, Docker, and Git. I have developed preprocessing algorithms that led to patented solutions, and I focus on scalability, reproducibility, and collaboration efficiency. My work includes building metadata databases and data cataloging systems to ensure traceability and research reliability.Currently, I am exploring the intersection of LLM technologies and bioinformatics, experimenting with LangChain, vLLM, uv, and RAG/serving optimization to advance intelligent data-driven systems.
