I am an experienced education professional with over 30 years’ experience working across teaching, leadership, and operational roles. I am highly motivated by opportunities to improve systems, support teams, and make a positive impact, particularly in environments that support young people and communities.Throughout my career, I have held roles including teacher, head of department, and senior leader, where I developed strong operational, organisational, and people-management skills. I have led departments with specialist facilities, written and reviewed risk assessments, coordinated daily operations and events, and worked closely with catering, facilities, and IT teams to ensure safe and efficient working environments. I have also played a key role in safeguarding and compliance, working with external agencies, auditors, and local authorities to maintain high standards and accountability.I have significant experience managing budgets, including pupil premium and SEND funding, and I am confident in financial monitoring, planning, and reporting. I am highly organised, able to manage competing priorities, and experienced in structured planning, setting clear targets, and reviewing progress to ensure effective delivery.Collaboration and mentoring are central to my professional approach. I have worked across teams and organisations, supporting colleagues through coaching, guidance, and shared best practice.
