About Donna Hansen

I am a Lead Technician in Sterile Processing at Flagler Hospital. I am a Certified Registered Central Sterile Technician, a Certified Instrument Specialist, and have my Certified Health Leadership (CHL) certification. I am proficient with the Impress Instrument tracking system by V. Mueller, I have been using this system to add sets and change count sheets for the OR, as well as utilize the "reports"​ functions and labeling to track our instrumentation. I perform the scheduling of the 10 employees we have in our department. My manager has been setting me up as the "go to" person for the OR. I send items out for repair and order instruments as needed. I have a formal education from Fortis College. My strong work ethic and constant willingness to learn, along with my management experience has put me in the position I have today. I am always ready to learn as much as I can, and use this knowledge to help make my department run as smoothly as possible. I am excited to use my skills and experience to make positive changes in my department. Constantly learning and improving as I go.
