I am a well-rounded, quality-driven, aspiring software developer with a recently completed Master of Computer Science degree and a decade of experience in software testing, quality assurance, and business analysis. I am passionate about infusing quality into every aspect of both product and process. And even more passionate about understanding user problems before rushing to implement solutions. I am an advocate for users, committed to improving usability and accessibility. I am particularly interested in gaining more exposure to mobile development, modern web development, and digital accessibility practices. My track record of rapidly learning new technologies, software, and business domains is evident. Between two computer science degrees, teaching computer science and IT topics, and working as a software tester, quality assurance analyst, and business analyst, I have always had to quickly pick up new languages, concepts, applications, and verticals to succeed and advance the success of others. I am always keen to dig in and learn new things or to renew my acquaintance with something from the past.I am always learning because I enjoy the challenge and love seeing how things in our world fit together. I ask loads of questions, ranging from the thought-provoking to the so-called "stupid", and am not afraid to do so! As a result, I am eager to answer the questions of others and help find solutions.I view software quality as a holistic discipline, making it the responsibility of everyone regardless of role. I believe communication forms the foundation. Agile methodologies can be an excellent framework for encouraging high-quality communication, and I have enjoyed the benefit of Scrum and Kanban-style practices.
