About Donna Lau

I am a passionate and experienced General Practitioner, having completed my post graduate medical degree at The University of Sydney in 2010 and attained fellowship from the RACGP in 2014. In general practice, I enjoy all aspects of family medicine with a special interest in women's health, paediatric medicine and mental wellbeing. I have over 10 years of experience in my subspecialty of Sexual Health and Reproductive Medicine. I am a procedural doctor at Family Planning NSW, Marie Stopes Australia and Clinic 66. I am dedicated to providing the utmost safe, effective, and compassionate care to my patients. By dividing my time between general practice and family planning medicine, I have found great career satisfaction. I am honoured by my long term patient-doctor relationships and the opportunity to holistically manage the health of my general practice patients. I am also proud to be living my values of empowering individuals by providing patient-focused access to sexual and reproductive health options. My strong foundation in science and medical research means that I employ an evidence-based approach. I also practice patient-led care and believe that the only way to achieve health goals is to work in a collaborative approach.
