Ms. Low has been the Managing Partner of Low McKinley Baleria & Salenko, LLP since the firm's inception in 2004. The firm defends physicians, hospitals and other health care providers in professional liability and licensing matters in Northern and Central California. Ms. Low is an invited member of the California Medical Legal Committee, an organization which limits its membership to seventy attorneys in California. Ms. Low has been AV rated since 2005 and is a Fellow of the Litigation Council of America. She has successfully tried numerous professional liability cases to jury verdict as well as administrative licensing matters. Prior to being admitted to the California Bar in 1990, Ms. Low was a Registered Nurse for fifteen years and was certified by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. Ms. Low has lectured and published on a broad range of subjects in the medical-legal context. She has presented accredited programs to physicians on behalf of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education and has presented several accredited programs to attorneys which were sponsored by Continuing Education of the Bar. Ms. Low has lectured to staff of acute care hospitals and long term care facilities on issues ranging from effective communication, patient hand offs, documentation and risk management strategies. Since 2009, Ms. Low has been listed in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers and is also listed in the Lexis Nexis of Register of Preeminent Women's Lawyers. She is a member of the American Bar Association, California State Bar Association, Defense Council of Northern California Defense Research Institute and the Sacramento Bar Association. She was selected as one of San Francisco's Top Rated Lawyers in October 2012 and selected as a Top Rated Lawyer in Healthcare Law by The Recorder in July 2013. She was also named 2013/20144 Woman of the Year by The National Association of Professional Women.
