A business and legal professional with over twenty-five years of experience succeeding, supervising, and leading in the business and legal world. A proven and seasoned self-motivated leader who is versatile, very adaptable to change, and who exceeds expectations. Additional experience in human resource management, legal research, legal writing, case management, sales, criminal and family law, marketing, and personnel management. A history of improving the success of businesses while providing exceptional organizational, managerial, and customer service skills. I have a history of serving crime victims from my early days in the Sheboygan County District Attorney's office to my time as the Senior Legal Director at Harbor House Domestic Abuse Programs. I currently serve on the Wisconsin Governor's Council on Domestic Abuse Legislative and Policy Committee where I work to advance the laws, policies, and procedures that adversely impact domestic violence, human trafficking, and sexual assault victims. My legal experience is diverse. I am the current Director of Legal Studies-Paralegal ABA approved program at Lakeshore Technical College. I absolutely love inspiring the next generation of legal scholars to find their passion and purpose! Studying law and working in the legal field is as challenging as it is rewarding. I previously worked in the non-profit world serving victims of domestic violence, human trafficking, and sexual assault working as their legal advocate. I have experience in civil, family, and criminal court. My past paralegal experience is in disability law, criminal law, business, law, family law, real estate law and my current area of Master degree studies is in Clinical Community Counseling. Specialties: Educator and trainer. I have spent years training and educating new staff, coworkers, Board of Directors, law enforcement agencies, non-profit agencies, and community service agencies on a variety of legal information. I have a deep working knowledge of paralegal program studies. I embody strong interpersonal skills, leadership, and management expertise. I have a personal and professional commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion work and I find it imperative to continue to grow in my cultural competency. I am technologically advanced.
