Whether evaluating a DHS program’s effectiveness or leading an audit that saved $5M through corrective actions, I thrive on uncovering insights that drive meaningful change. I have a passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement. With a background spanning the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) OIG, the Department of Defense (DOD) OIG, and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, and other DOD entities, I’ve led teams through high-stakes inspections, evaluations, compliance audits, and risk assessments. My expertise includes internal controls, financial systems analysis, and strategic planning—ensuring programs not only meet regulatory standards but operate at their full potential. Beyond the technical aspects of my work, I enjoy mentoring and coaching the next generation of analysts, inspectors, and evaluators. I’ve led new employee orientations, provided technical training, and championed initiatives that foster a culture of excellence and accountability. Outside of work, you’ll likely find me traveling the world, getting lost in a good fantasy novel, or spending time with family. my dog, and three cats.
