Over thirty years of experience serving individuals and families providing a safe, holistic and caring approach. Excellent customer service, responsiveness and working cohesively with others. I possess facilitation skills and direct experience engaging and training adult populations. I have trained larger groups as well as one provided 1:1 technical assistance to internal employees and external contracted employees. I can offer you my ability to communicate rules and policy. I bring proven problem solving skills, analysis and liaison experience. I have experience with contracts and compliance and looking at programs from a bird’s eye view as well as a side by side approach. I currently train and manage Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) recipients as a Business Development Associate II (BDA II). As a BDA II, I utilize my facilitation skills in the deliverance of dense federal and state information and processes. Constantly working in adult development and case management, I have emerged as motivational trainer, cultivating engagement and ensuring best practices for clients. A recipient of Peak Academy Green Belt Training, I ensure that processes are both effective and efficient. For example I have worked on a group that revamped the current process for referrals and activity tracking for one of our TANF contractors. Previously, I worked in Denver County’s Contract and Compliance Management Team. I monitored TANF Contractors. I ensured they met scope of service goals and outcomes. I provided detailed reports outlining their referrals, enrollments and outcomes. I provided training and technical assistance to new employees. I also worked with the small business loan recipients monitoring their employments, and ensuring compliance with insurance requirements. I had the opportunity to conduct file reviews for HOPWA grants and grants for a number of other non-profit agencies. I have 30 plus years working in City Government and am looking for a career change to a new agency in which I can gain in-depth knowledge of the services and the guiding principles.
