About Donna Sciarappa

Donna Sciarappa leads the firm’s client experience strategy. She also serves on RSM’s executive leadership, markets, and operations teams. She is a former RSM US LLP Board of Directors member and currently serves on the RSM US Foundation Board of Directors. In her current leadership role, Donna’s focus is to expand and leverage client understanding to differentiate RSM through client experience. She collaborates with colleagues across the enterprise to align core relationship management processes, rewards, metrics and talent. She also works with firm functions to define and develop consistent experiences at critical customer journey points, grounded in the deep understanding of our diverse and changing client population and our commitment to deliver lasting value through The Power of Being Understood Donna began her career as an auditor in 1988 at a firm that was part of an RSM acquisition and soon became an assurance partner serving health care entities. Donna led the deployment of RSM’s skilled employees across RSM’s global network in a way that supports and strengthens how we serve our clients. Her goal to bring the very best of the firm’s resources together is part of the firm’s larger strategy to ensure a unique and differentiated client experience. Stewardship is important to Donna, and her role on the RSM US Foundation Board of Directors helps fulfill her desire to give back. As a board member, she works to ensure that charitable dollars are invested in activities that serve youth by providing access to education, health resources, and housing. During Donna’s 36-year career with RSM, she has invested time and energy in mentoring young women to become the next leaders of the firm. She is the national executive sponsor for the firm’s STAR employee network group, which identifies high-performing women and champions their path to partnership. In 2022, the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants recognized Donna as a member of their inaugural class of Power of Change honorees for exhibiting extraordinary leadership, community involvement, mentorship, and innovation in women’s initiatives. She has also been involved in RSM’s culture, diversity, and inclusion initiative since its inception in 2014, serving on the firm’s Inclusion Council, which fosters a diverse workforce that is representative of the communities RSM serves. Outside of work, Donna is actively involved in the Cleveland community and enjoys gardening.
