My background demonstrates a track record of success in leading engagement and outreach activities, designing communications strategies, governing complex operations, managing programs, and administering multimillion-dollar budgets. An accomplished, result-driven project manager with extensive experience in planning and delivering multi-faceted projects under time and budget within the healthcare industry. I am an engaging and articulate communicator with strong interpersonal skills and an exceptional talent for working with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and key stakeholders to define the programs’ mission, scope, objectives, and timelines. As a passionate and approachable leader, I bring a vision-driven approach to program management, decision-making, strategic planning, and tactical implementation to plan and deliver multiple projects simultaneously. I am a critical thinker and creative problem solver, expert at resolving complex situations by clarifying issues, advocating solutions, and facilitating decisions. Following are some of the highlights of my career: Launched the National Cancer Institute’s (NCI) Cancer Information Service (CIS) program at Indiana University (IU) Simon Cancer Center to create and implement innovative strategic cancer prevention and control programs, supporting statewide partners to utilize NCI/CIS programs and services. Helped Sycamore Services, Inc. secure new funding by efficiently promoting services to hospitals, doctors’ offices, consumers, government agencies, and the Chamber of Commerce. Led a 12-person team to deliver 7 high-priority national/international diabetes medical meetings, delivering on project milestones and within budget and communicating project plans that detailed the due dates, tasks, resources, milestones, and expectations.
