About Donna Wahnee

I am a highly motivated individual that prides myself in the work I do and accomplish. I am well rounded in many fields including Native American initiatives, tribal relations, administrative positions, financial positions, emergency management, higher education, and various special projects. I have and currently hold leadership positions with the Oklahoma Federation of Indian Women and work as a co-advisor with the Native American Student Association. I've received numerous awards in my career including employee of the year three times and have received many various achievement awards. My diligence and hard working attitude has allowed me to work alongside many amazing people. Traveling to Washington DC to discuss FEMA issues with lawmakers pertaining to disasters on Native Land has been a highlight of my work. Being able to bring those concerns to the leaders was a great opportunity. I've worked with numerous organizations including Disney for the premier of the movie The Lone Ranger, The National Museum of the American Indian in Washington DC, The Department of the Army, the leadership and commanding officers of Fort Sill, the Lawton City Council, the Lawton Chamber of Commerce as a Redcoat Ambassador, the leadership of various cities in southwest Oklahoma, the Arrington McFadden All Indian Rodeo Association, Comanche Nation Emergency Management serving as Liaison Officer, Comanche County Emergency Management, Oklahoma Emergency Management, RSU Health and Safety Team, and other valuable organizations. My motto is and has been "to make the best better". In whatever task or job put in front of me I will do what I can to do take the best better.
