About Donovan Bader

AA in Communications, Bachelors in Strategic Communications. Experience in management, research, sales, education and outreach. Donovan Bader started teaching Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at the age of 19 in Buffalo, NY. Donovan’s charismatic teaching style, creative thinking, and open demeanor contributed to the growth of Pursue Martial Arts and eventually led to a teaching position at Caio Terra Academy in San Jose, California. Donovan served as Manager and Kids Program Director until 2019 when he returned to school full time in order to pursue a long-term career in the Communications field. Donovan previously worked for the Outreach Department of San Jose City College while attending CSU East Bay full time and is actively involved in food distribution through Second Harvest and their partnership with SJCC to feed the surrounding community. His roles in school, work, and volunteering have honed his problem solving, teamwork, and communication abilities while simultaneously giving him a platform for public speaking which is one of his favorite ways of contributing to the organizations he supports. Donovan currently serves as Manager and Instructor for Caio Terra Association at their Association HQ in San Jose, California.
