About Donovan Mark Ong

Hello, I am Donovan Mark Ong. I am a highly self-motivated individual with a passion for leading and serving in people-management roles and have been seizing opportunities to undertake leadership positions in university. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Nanyang Technological University. My current interest lies in the field of process engineering and I am gearing up, academically and otherwise, to seek an internship in relevant companies. I believe that the technical path offers me a dynamic environment that challenges my problem-solving skills while giving me the opportunity to make a positive impact on society. I enjoy travelling and I wouldn't mind working overseas in the future if the opportunity arises. During my leisure time, I enjoy playing darts to take a breather and stay focused in this ever-changing world, much so in fast-paced modern Singapore. I was attached to AkzoNobel Paints (Singapore) Pte Ltd for the Final-Year Student Internship Programme at Temasek Polytechnic where I was involved in two projects which allowed me to demonstrate good time management skills and meticulousness amongst other skills. I have worked in various part-time jobs during study breaks - Valet, Retail, F&B, Production, Logistics which broadened my insights on the different industries and the way people think differently.
