About Dontavis Thompson

I graduated from Georgia Highlands College with an associate's degree in Business Administration and Management in 2014. Since then, I have been working as a Senior Communication Dispatcher at City of Atlanta, where I coordinate communications and operations for one of the busiest airports in the world. In my current role, I dispatch for police, fire, security, maintenance, and airport personnel to respond to emergency and non-emergency situations. I also collaborate with off-airport responders and provide ongoing support and information to ensure the safety and efficiency of the airport. I use my decision-making and problem-solving skills to handle complex and dynamic scenarios, and my customer service and interpersonal skills to assist employees and visitors. I am passionate about serving the public and contributing to the airport's mission and vision. I am eager to join a team that values diversity, innovation, and excellence, and that can offer me new challenges and opportunities for growth.
