Recently, I earned an M.S. in Cybersecurity from the University of North Dakota, specializing in secure networks and ethical hacking. My coursework covered a broad range of topics, including Windows and UNIX-like operating systems, multiple programming languages, emerging threats and defenses, applied cryptography, human factors of cybersecurity, penetration testing, ethical hacking, secure software engineering, application layer security, communication protocols, and vulnerability assessment. In addition to my academic background, I bring substantial cyber experience from my role as a Cyber and Electronic Warfare Officer in the ND Army National Guard. Here, I have served on the state Defensive Cyber Operations Element, leading teams in cyber exercises focused on incident response and network defense. My military training has been rigorous, qualifying me for this role and solidifying my knowledge in cybersecurity. I am eligible for most cleared job roles and aim to combine my cybersecurity expertise with my operational and military experience to create innovative and secure solutions for complex cyber challenges. On the civilian side, I serve as a Reverse Logistics Area Manager at Amazon. In this role, I lead, develop, and motivate a diverse team of associates to exceed company standards and achieve operational excellence. I oversee multiple processes, ensuring quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. My background in sales and operations has equipped me to navigate complex challenges and effectively communicate across various mediums, both virtual and physical. I have a proven track record of driving process improvement, problem-solving, and communication across multiple areas, and have received several awards for my performance, including the Humility Award and the Outstanding Area Award from a previous employer. I am actively seeking opportunities in the cybersecurity field where I can leverage my skills and experience to contribute to innovative and secure solutions for complex cyber challenges.
