About Dora Cassongo

Here’s a little introduction : I’m a Biomedical Science graduate and have recently completed my MSc in Clinical Neuroscience at King’s College London. My academic and professional journey has been driven by a deep interest in understanding the brain, improving mental health care, and contributing to research that truly makes a difference in people’s lives. 🤝: Working as an Eating Disorder Treatment Advisor gave me first-hand insight into the power of compassionate, client-centred care. I supported young people and families through some of their most vulnerable moments, managed sensitive clinical data using platforms like HubSpot, and collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, effective support. These experiences deepened my passion for mental health and strengthened the organisational, communication, and data management skills I aim to bring into clinical research: Outside of academia, I’m the founder of Anointed Sketches, a Christian art platform where I share faith-based content and foster a welcoming, creative space for others. 🩺: Alongside my studies, I’m building Clinical Research Knowledge by undertaking the Good Clinical Practice ICH course from the NIHR: I’m now looking to take the next step in clinical research—where I can combine my background in neuroscience, data, and client-focused care to support meaningful, evidence-based change.
