Currently as Parent-Mentor Coordinator I provide support to empower our Mentors in facilitating the Parent education, resulting in increased confidence and practical instruction for newborn care. The program provides coaching for our pregnant Clients by offering ~ Affirmation ~ Motivation ~ Education ~ & Preparation ~ for parenting a newborn. Upon completion of the program, the Parents are eligible to receive material assistance to help with practical needs. In my experiences through employment, volunteering and life in general, I have identified strengths in: • Mentor Support – Individual and group training to prepare Mentors for facilitating Client education. Providing administrative support related to Curriculum and Materials; Client Records and Reports; Meeting Facility; Donation Management, resulting in providing quality Client education and services. • Client Service – Greeting people pleasantly and respectfully and handling inquiries, resulting in improved client satisfaction, consistency, and professionalism. • Communication – Maintaining phone and email communication with Mentors and Clients in order to assist them in reaching their goals and to facilitate education related to parenting a newborn, resulting in continuity of service and satisfied Clients. • Computer Skills – Using computer applications to develop organizational systems for document preparation, planning, scheduling, and reporting, resulting in improved efficiency, accurate record keeping and effective distribution of information.
