My profile photo signifies Creator, Creation and Creativity which when working in harmony brings about fulfillment and individual growth just as the relationship between organisation, employee and customer achieves great outcomes when working for the benefit of each other. Every interaction is the moment of truth and as such, every person, job, or event is a teacher. Respect, integrity, collaboration, flexibility are values that resonate within me. I have 15 + years of experience in customer service being a frontline operative in the insurance industry. Interactions with customers have refined my active listening skills and empathy. My other well developed skills are accountability, time management, keen eye for detail, accuracy, problem solving and fluency in written and verbal communication. Having worked in an office environment I am versatile with learning new computer programs and able to fluently navigate team dynamics. My early working career extended to the creative arts where I was a music teacher and I also did a few stints as a creative copywriter with an Advertising Agency. Outside of work, I am a passionate advocate for the environment both at an individual and community level. I undertook a 12-week Environmental Leadership Course in August 2021 to become involved at the grassroots environmental movement. I am currently working on a project to turn small plastic waste into re-usable items to support individuals with disability and the environment. I am a member with Rethink Recycling Coop, and Transition Australia/Kingston (Sustainability Group). An administrator/advocate role in the environmental sector is a goal I also aim for. As I believe in giving back to the community, I have become a Community Volunteer for the elderly, with "Community Visitor Scheme"- a Govt funded organization. I am open to new work opportunities.
