About Doren Kolasa

My passion lies with helping others. I enjoy teaching, coaching, and mentoring others to be present empowering them to live and learn in the moment. I strive to bring the focus on slowing down so we can truly enjoy the process and journey. I have gained tremendous experience from over two decades of service in the U.S. Military (Special Operations). I enjoy implementing the leadership skills that serving our great nation has taught me. I like to think that I pay it forward through the past 16 years of youth sports coaching and small team development I have had the pleasure to be a part of. I enjoy project management, analysis, and solving complex problems. As a leader, I regularly help team members discover ways to cooperate with each other that they never before considered. I have the ability to pinpoint each person’s unique styles of thinking, working, and learning in order to build cohesive teams. In my free time I enjoy golfing and coaching youth athletes in baseball and softball fundamentals. My family and I spend about 95% of our time at the ball fields and traveling to and from travel ball tournaments in and around North Carolina.
