With 10+ years’ experience in business ownership, business analysis, nutrition, product development, oversight, auditing, and compliance, my greatest strength is uniting staff around a shared vision to reach a goal. Analytical by nature, I’m intrigued by technology, science, and innovation. This helps me to identify process improvements and implement solutions. My comprehensive knowledge of food safety (HACCP principles, GMPs, SOPs, pest control, and recall programs) as well as my proven leadership ability to develop, manage and implement company Quality Assurance Programs and Policies helps me to ensure ongoing compliance with local, national, and international standards and legislation. I enjoy communicating with a wide variety of stakeholders, especially when it comes to strategic planning and bringing colleagues on board with an idea. In my role at Champion Petfoods, I often initiate conversations with regulators, legislators, and cross-functional teams across the institution - such as supply chain, commercial service and regulatory affairs, as well as HACCP consultants and outside vendors. My team knows they can rely on me: I remain clear and focused on the end goal, even throughout interruptions, industry changes, and competing priorities.
