My name is Dorian King, NRP, and I am a multidisciplinary professional with experience spanning cybersecurity engineering, systems infrastructure, emergency medical services, and higher education. I currently serve as a Cybersecurity Engineer at Core Natural Resources, where I focus on security architecture, risk mitigation, and protecting enterprise systems in highly regulated environments.In addition to my technical career, I am an Adjunct Instructor at the Community College of Allegheny County, where I teach EMT, AEMT, and Paramedic coursework and lead accelerated hybrid paramedic cohorts. Education and mentorship are central to my professional mission, and I am passionate about developing future healthcare and public safety professionals through evidence-based instruction and real-world clinical application.I remain actively engaged in emergency medical services as a Paramedic with Foxwall EMS and Rostraver/West Newton Emergency Services, providing advanced life support care to diverse communities. I also volunteer as a Firefighter/Paramedic with the Donora Volunteer Fire Company, reinforcing my commitment to public service and community preparedness.Academically, I hold a Master of Science in Information Technology Management from Western Governors University and multiple degrees and certifications in cybersecurity, information systems, and paramedicine. As an advisor and educator working across multiple disciplines, I strive to lead by example, promote lifelong learning, and empower others to reach their professional potential.
