During my tenure as a Commissioned Officer (1989-present), I have been assigned the positions of Platoon Leader, Maintenance Officer, Company Commander, Movement Officer, Support Operations Officer (Field Services), South West Asia Theater Mortuary Affairs Officer, Acting Field Services Directorate, Acting Battalion Commander, Support Operations Chief, Supply and Services Chief and Plans Chief. During my tenure (2005-present) with the Department of Veterans Affairs, I have held the positions of Primary Care Social Worker, Readjustment Counseling Therapist, and Team Leader/Supervisory Social Worker and Associate Regional Manager for Counseling with Readjustment Counseling Services Region 3B. As a Master level Clinical Social Worker (2004-present), I have also held the positions of Case Manager (working with HIV positive mothers and children), Mental Health Professional (individual and group psychotherapy as well as psychiatric assessments), Marital Therapist (working in a private practice in Columbus, OH), Grief Counselor, Behavioral Health coach, and Adjunct Faculty at Ohio State University and Toledo University as a Field practicum and Classroom Instructor for MSW students, Private contractor(Psychotherapist) with AssuraSource Inc. Metal Health Agency. I am currently (2007-present) a Small Business Owner and Director of Restoration I Inc. Supervised Visitation program. A program providing services for the reinforcement of family preservation while promoting the integrity of the individual and family unit. I am currently a Private Contractor providing Counseling Services for a Company by the name of AssurSource Lifecare I received my Commission as an Officer in the U.S. Army in 1989 from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA I received my Associate Degree in 1989 (Applied Science) from Delgado College in New Orleans, Bachelor’s Degree (Criminal Justice) in 1990 and my Graduate Degree (Master’s in Social Work) in 2004 from Southern University in Louisiana.
