Tot recent speelde ik rugby op het hoogste niveau, hiervoor trainde ik gemiddeld 25 uur per week, met als doel de Olympische Spelen in 2016. Daarnaast werkte ik 2 dagen in de week bij het Bureau Diergeneesmiddelen (CBG) als Regulatory Project Officer. Toen de OS 2016 helaas niet haalbaar bleken, heb ik besloten mijn topsport carrière te beëindigen en heb ik mij compleet gericht op mijn maatschappelijke carrière. Vanaf 1 februari 2016 heb ik gewerkt bij Vion als kwaliteitsmanager. Na hier 4 jaar met veel plezier te hebben gewerkt ben ik in 2020 gestart aan een volgende uitdaging in het onderwijs bij Van Hall Larenstein.
