Certified Dementia Practitioner and Managing Partner of Seniors Helping Seniors Home Care. Seniors Helping Seniors is a unique in-home services company that specializes in recruiting ‘mature’ care givers who relate to the life experiences of those they care for. They understand and empathize with their issues and challenges and are better able to assist seniors to maintain as much of their independence as possible in the familiarity of their own home and community. Seniors Helping Seniors caregivers are registered Home Care Aides with the state of California, have been fingerprinted and undergone criminal background checks and department of motor vehicle checks. They may assist with all levels of Personal Care needs, up to and including care for those who are bed bound, as well as providing companionship and socialization, and typically run errands, prepare meals, provide medication reminders, doe light housekeeping, and laundry. We are experts at transitioning individuals from total independence to accepting assistance for the first time. Doris Dorey has over twenty years' experience in Human Resources management including industry experience in home care, health insurance and educational technology. Doris holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Montclair State University. Doris is a Certified Dementia Practitioner.
