Currently pursuing a Master of Counselling, I am deepening my expertise to broaden my impact in the field. My professional journey includes working as a counsellor specialising in alcohol and other drugs, serving as a special educational officer and school counsellor, and providing support to refugees. I have also had the privilege of working closely with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, fostering cultural understanding and delivering inclusive, strengths-based care. In my practice, I employ a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Person-Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy. These frameworks allow me to provide tailored, client-focused interventions that empower individuals to achieve their goals and overcome challenges. I aim to continue building a career that empowers individuals and communities through holistic and inclusive approaches to mental health and well-being.
